Considered one of the world’s most talented polo players, Brandon has captured some of the sport’s most coveted trophies. He won the USPA Silver Cup, the Gold Cup of the Americas, and the C.V. Whiteney Cup. Additionally, he was a finalist in the US Open of Polo. At age 14 Phillips was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The doctor’s prognosis was six weeks to live. Drawing on his physical strength and positive outlook, Phillips was cancer free after five months of intensive chemotherapy. He continues the fight against cancer by participating in numerous charitable events and sharing the game of polo with children suffering from cancer. Phillips not only represents the sport of polo on the field but also off the field. He acts as an ambassador for the sport at fundraisers and throughout his humanitarian efforts. With more than 20 horses, polo has become Phillips’ full-time job as well as his passion. Although he travels around the world to play polo, Wellington, Florida is his home.
